Missions

We believe God has positioned College Ave to build up the kingdom of God through the churches we multiply, the messengers we send, and the mercy we show, both locally and globally. 12% of the dollars we receive every week go toward these mission expressions.

We organize our missional efforts around three interrelated teams:

IN SAN DIEGO + BEYOND

our missional beliefs

  • He initiated and is at work in our world, redeeming all that was lost to sin and rebellion.

  • The Father sent His Son to accomplish the redemption of our lost world.

  • Jesus calls us to join Him in His redemptive mission in the power of His Holy Spirit.

  • Proclaiming the good news of Jesus is central to all of our missional efforts.

  • We aim to reach, baptize, and teach disciples to obediently follow Jesus.

  • We enfold people into local churches and multiply churches among all peoples.

  • Christ’s “Great Commandment” fuels our “Great Commission” efforts. We own the inseparable link of loving actions and transforming message - of the gospel lived and the gospel spoken - all to bring glory to God.
